Our favorite part of the hospitality world is when we get to know a new addition to the Chubb Adventures experience.
We got the keys and away we went…
We began demo day with removing all furnishings and deep cleaning every surface in preparation for creating that perfect experience for our Guests.
Painting begins after the deep clean. We went with the color of the year by Behr—cracked pepper; for the walls in the cabin main living area and master bedroom. We kept the Behr—blank canvas for the main bathroom. With this being an actual log home, there is very little drywall.
We explore the property and contemplate where we will cut in trails. We eat dinner by a fire roasting the best tasting hot dogs we can imagine. Ok, it may have been all the hard work, ha.
We then ensure we have purchased every single item that will make a stay perfection! And…maybe even more than would or should fit in a sedan.
We have updated everything from paint, flooring, knobs, light fixtures, bathroom necessities, and furniture. We order new mattresses for the best night’s sleep. We research the best products and then test them out to ensure the review is exactly what it says…magic!
We even sprinkled in some fun and explored the Grotto Falls trail in the Roaring Fork Motor Trail in Gatlinburg, TN. Along the way, got to see two baby bears and a momma, munching on those yummy acorns.
